What I am GIVING UP in 2015
In 2015 I will be giving up........... RED MEAT. I have actually been trying, and doing really well eating raw. There are several things that I have a hard time giving up. Two in particular, cheese and eggs. I love them, I love them very much. I will be working on trying to loose my love for them this year, but one thing for certain, is I will not be consuming red meats. Even chicken and turkey. That stemed from me not knowing what i was eating, the quality of meat, and or what the heck is it in. I get sick even thinking about what I am possibly eating when consuming meats. It has been so strong, that I have honestly lost the desire for them. I have just recently watched a video that FullyRawKristina posted, on her experience in having to kill her own meat, if she wanted to consume them. I have never been in a situation, where I was the one to have to kill my own food, and when I think about it, which I have never done before, it makes me sick! So, watching that video feed my thoughts against meat even further. I am so excited to be giving up something, that has no benefit to my body, whatsoever. You don't need to consume meat to sustain life. If you eat the foods that nature gives us, that is all you need. What are you giving up? What are your goals for 2015? and why? Have you given up meat and what was your reason? I would love to hear them! Happy New Year lovelies!!

Feeling good!
Since I have two small children I am very busy and the last three Months I have eaten the worse I have eatin since 2010 (when I decided I needed a life style change). Every since I brought my youngest home from the hospital three Months ago it has been quite a challenge to eat healthy. I am guilty for grabbing a handful of cookies instead of actually eating. I would eat the easiest and closest thing. We all know anything convient is far from healthy. Not only have I been eating bad I have been feeling bad. I made the decision to make time for myself and eat the way I enjoy eating. It is going to be a challenge but I can do it. How can I take care of my children if I don't take care of myself? I am on day two of eating clean and I feel amazing. It literally doesn't take long to feel better. I feel lighter, more energy and I don't feel like I am going to have a heart attack. Just so you know, that's what I feel like when I feel unhealthy. Haha To me feeling healthy is priceless. If you feel healthy then here comes the perks! What are the perks? Well, becoming thinner of course! It's a win win game. You live longer and look better. ;)
